Wake up Hoovies!!!

There are scientific discoveries hidden deep within the most secret of laboratories. Hoovies are one of them. They are the personification of the materialized elementary particles of the hyperreal universe's consciousness. In other words - small happy spheres, that love to bounce, divide, join and multiply. Unfortunately, ever since they've become a discovery, they've become enslaved by their discoverer and exploited for neverending experiments.
Yet they believe that one day You will arrive - their savior.
Are You the Chosen One?

The History
Humanity has always wanted to control nature. Once in a while a mad genius is born who uses his knowledge for the dastardly goal of world domination. It will be up to you to face Professor Hoover, who by studying chaos theory has formulated a fiendish plan to control the space-time continuum, is exploiting in his research innocent Hoovies. The Professor needs vast amounts of energy in order to finalize his research. In order to gather it, he has constructed the Hoovietron, a diabolical machine that allows him to control the happy spheres and suck the energy out of them.
They have no idea what they are a part of. Dazed by the Professor's machine, they bounce around completely unaware of the real purpose for their existence. Their future looks even worse. Once the Professor sucks all the energy out of the Hoovies, they lose their natural ability to bounce and turn into inert and boring cubes,

The Chosen One
There is hope, however. As predicted by the their last leader, Hooveus, a chosen one will one day arrive, who will liberate them from the shackles of the Hoovietron and they will finally find a purpose for their bouncing. Only the Chosen One will know that the only way to awaken the Hoovies from their apathy is to meld their colorful manifestations. The accumulated energy will allow them to regain consciousness and escape the shackles of the Hoovietron.

The Game
As the Chosen One, in order to fulfill your destiny, you will have to use the bellows found in the laboratory. With it, you will be able to pull a Hoovie of a given color toward you and then shoot it into another Hoovie of the same color. However, this task will not be easy. The Hoovietron will defend itself every step of the way. But the manifestations of already freed Hoovies will be on your side.
